Two reporters from the News Journal were in Nepal for the earthquakes that devastated the country. Dr. Kevin Geffe and Physician's Assistant, Colleen Davis, tell us about their experiences.
Dr. Kevin Geffe of Diamond State Surgical Associates traveled last month for a humanitarian mission to remove tumors, cancers and provide other life-saving surgical procedures to those in need. There are about 8,250 miles between Middletown and the city of Sirsi in Karnataka, India.
Dr. Kevin Geffe of Diamond State Surgical Associates in Middletown was one of the volunteers with the Wilmington-based Delaware Medical Relief Team. The devastating earthquake that struck Nepal on April 25 decimated buildings, homes, temples, and left over 8,700 people dead.
